Operating Rooms are complex and many of the fixtures within the OR do not recieve a proper inspection. Most ORs are not ready for a CMS / DNV / Joint Commission inspection, so why take the risk? The Yeehaw 3D Printer was an attempt at crowdfunding a 3d printer for kids. The company folded quickly and left an army of these printers without an app, parts or support. Let's take a look under the covers.

Inserting the disposable pencil tip directly into the analyzer active electrode port is not something i would show on camera 😂
@@pierrejabbour9098 Technicians have used ESU analyzers like that for decades.
My biggest fear is when they call during surgery for an emergency… They really don’t train us biomedics for such stressful situations 😅
Remember Radio Shack where you could get parts gone now that store is great but haven't seen any reel to reel tape recorders thanks for sharing great video
Sadly these kind of stores are fading into the past. You can't get surplus electronic components one electronics are no longer assembled on your continent. The people that started these stores are getting older. Many of these stores close when the founders retire. Their webpage says online store coming soon. I hope it does come and they make a lot of money.
Wow that's Amazing there's one like that in Orlando named sky Craft great store really appreciate your video 👍🏽👍🏽 🙏🏽
❤thank you for this great explanation 👏
That's a great example of problem solving engineering from Yeti. I several have my stainless steel bottles with straw attachment to their caps, wide mouth as well, so they can easily be filled with icecubes, protein powder scoops, etc., and the straw prevents ice bergs ramming and chipping my teeth. BUT, the cap spigots and straws will always have mold, hard to clean due to many parts involved. Already purchased a Yeti, thanks for the video, really enjoying these type of content.
Well done thanx a million...have a gr8 summer
I been using a small Yeti to drink my morning tea out of. Dont think I could go back to using a regular cup anymore.
Great functioning tool with notable improvements from the previous model unfortunate about the micro USB charging port carryover. Your video popped up while I was researching about Milwaukee's M12 drill/driver installer. Might be something to look into.
@Nanogrip if you're already a M12 tool technician, go with the m12 driver. I live the ability to switch out batteries
@@BetterBiomedChannel I first started out with M18 tools but I am finding more and more that M12 is great for technical work as they are smaller in size, lighter, and easier to maneuver in tight areas. Love that they have small compact batteries.
Partssource. R&D. ISO. My 3 goto battery sites. And God they are expensive. 😅 sometimes whwn getting parts, the cheaper option is the manufacturer.
the only things that should be coming with NOT USB type C at this point is made as cheap as humanly posable and put on temu for bottom dollar. there is NO reason for a pro line of tools to be using that... C is way more robust and durable. as well as faster charging capabilities.
Its currently on sale on amazon. Its on my starter biomed tool list to buy. Seems like a useful lil power screwdriver 🪛
Whats the price, looks like cheap chinese screwdriver with just brand name
It's $40
Lower current when wound as it becomes a transformer with higher inductance and therefore reactance and heat generation.
Hello can u plz help me how to find a automatic motor for hobart meat slicer hs9n i can't find a replacement or part manual thank you

I will be starting as a BMET1 in a couple weeks , I’m coming from 8 years of maintenance experience in the same hospital . I worked on all of our hospital beds and nurse call. Excited and a little nervous for this new chapter .
Thanks so much man!
I liked it when patient monitors used the same lead acid batteries that were used in 80's video equipment.
@zero0ryn Lithium batteries have many advantages but these prices and markups have gotten out of hand.
They are expensive because insurance companies buy them. Same reason why car parts are expensive
I can't tell you how much extra I spend because I have to use PartSource.....
@powerj2001 yeah, those PS contracts are complete bs
Is there a good test simulation source to try?
Just buy R&D.. done.
It's if someone threw an antique store, thrift store and a Radio Shack on steriods in a bag, shook it up and this store fell out. Too bad this store is in Texas. My brother-in-law would love this place.
ChatGPT hallucinates way too often for it to be a reliable tool for work. The time spent verifying its wrong information is comparable to just manually sifting through Google's nonsense. Last two hospitals I've worked at have banned OpenAI anyways, probably due to its hallucinations that provide wrong information.
greetings from michigan USA!

What the last pear of gloves are called? But pls do more with gloves
Were you able to get in at a normal hour?
Yes
We're do you find the last pear of gloves and how much it costs?
Fresh gloves - always check the manufacturers date or the expiration date on the box
I’ve got a question. I have a lifepak 12, has a crack in the handle from a fall. Best way to fix it?
I don't believe that Lifepak 12 parts are still available. Ebay is a source for rare parts, then Dotmed.com . You could create a public post on LinkedIn requesting the case.
That lead set is awesome.

Hello better biomed, I am from the Philippines working as a biomed and I also encounter one Operating Table that won't turn on, the model is Heyer Aegistic OP830. I already checked the wire connection but I haven't seen any problem. I can't dismantle the lower part since the hand control is not working and I cannot adjust the hydraulic to higher level. Do you have any idea what causes the problem why it can't turn on?? I need your help please.
Most American hydraulic tables have a manual pump for when the electronics stop working.
Very nice to meet your YT channel.
I saw you repair a Sony DR80MD and am hopeful have a repair video for an error message I cannot work around. It blinks I have a paper or ink roll problem. Changing paper roll and ink rolls does nothing and same message persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Your explanations are great. Thanks
Try running the printer without a cassette. Make sure you change the paper AND the print roll
Thank you so much for your reply. I'll try immediately Fingers crossed👌
@@BetterBiomedChannel What do you mean 'Cassette' The ink rolls?
The cassette is the print paper and ink casette.
@@BetterBiomedChannel thanks for your help. I followed all your suggestions plus tightened the color rolls and restarted. Everything worked. No error messages, thanks a million
Gr8 video! Good job! Please continue your fantastic work!
Anyone can tell lime how ipo model apply in this case

You will own nothing and be happy. This is the reason I'm never buying anything that needs a cloud. Unless I can selfhost that cloud on my VM
the little chip, is probably a anti-paralel diode to form a "crowbar circuit". if your polarity isnt right it shorts the input, and if the psu is stronger it will turn into a constant short.
That's absolutely correct! I removed the shorted diode and the DC input card is fine now.
It’s a shame sometimes, but if people/institutions don’t demonstrate they value you, your work, your audience, or what you’ve built…they’re not a qualified fit for you. You’ve set a healthy boundary!
I haven't been treating this as a business.
My dad took to radio shack in NY as a kid and said please don't blow up the basement again salesman died laughing
Some off these big companies like screwing excellent biomed candidates with low wage offers.
"Whats going on everyone. Welcome back" Nothing bring me more excitement than hearing this line.
Thanks for sharing this. AMAZING how much 'stuff' is in one place. Very cool video. It would be hard to leave..
You should make a video on why BMETs are the lowest paid when it comes to comparison to other career fields.
Where is this wonderful store?
